Columbia Power was one of 33 small businesses that have been selected by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to work directly with DOE National Labs to accelerate the transformation toward a clean energy economy. The U.S. Department of Energy Small Business Vouchers Pilot is a collaborative, national effort that provides $20M for U.S. companies to work with National Laboratories. Vouchers range from $50-$300K and focus on nine clean energy technologies. The selected businesses will be afforded access to world-class laboratory resources to help move their innovative ideas and technologies closer to the marketplace.
Columbia Power will work with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and Sandia National Laboratories on a variety of work packages intended to accelerate the commercialization timeline for the StingRAY wave power system. You can read more about the award here and here.
